![]() ![]() ![]() If not, is there a filter or a pitch midi effect or something in live to filter out notes? ![]() Had a Novation Nocturn that used to play up with sending signals or not being recognised or only half working, but it wasn't the keyboard itself it was because either the limit of midi devices had been reached in windows or some other driver conflict (some guessing involved).īasically what had happened was when I'd plugged or unplugged the keyboard it had registered as a new device but when it wasn't plugged in you couldn't see it I had to use the cmd set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 ( ) then made sure device manager was set to show hidden devices - I had about 12 versions of the keyboard hidden under the tree, which for whatever reason were causing a conflict even though it was all class compliant etc, unplugged the keyboard at both ends of the usb, uninstalled all of them and the current present one, restarted & plugged it all back in, didn't have any more problems after that apart from still using windows! And that's worse than just the C-1 thing. I have mine on port 2 and annoyingly, the first one doesn't have the C-1 issue, it's only on the port 2, but I cant use the other one because with that, the damn thing wont play any sound above a certain octave, what happens there is instead of playing a note, it starts triggering clips and he transport panel and basically, the keys just do other things instead of playing notes. There's 2 ways to connect it, in Live 2 options are displayed, the first midi input option is called, 'Launchkey 49' and there's another one called, 'launchkey49 (port2)' Just got home so not had time to read those links yet posed by 3xoverhead but will look after luthatron there werent drivers with this controller, and as far as I know, there isn't any available, it's meant to just work out the thermal, yeah I know you had it, I'm not sure how to do any sort of midi filtering in Live, unaware while typing if there is even such a function tbh. ![]()
